Audiobooks for Real Estate Investors
For most real estate investors, the overarching goal is to make as much money as possible in as little time as possible. The same likely holds true for your goals in building knowledge in real estate investing… learn as much as possible in the most efficient way possible. That means not only finding the best knowledge resources but also making effective use of the time it takes you to consume your chosen buckets of wisdom knowledge sagery.
Where and when do you feel like you’re wasting the most time? Spend too much time in your car? Make that time more productive by turning on a real estate investing audiobook. Do you exercise a few times a week? No?? Well now you have a reason to start jogging or weight lifting while listening to real estate investing audiobooks on your iPhone. Before you know it, you’ll be a real estate guru. Plus you many even start enjoying your commute and getting in shape!
To make this process even more efficient for you, we’ve gathered a collection of the best real estate investing audiobooks to choose from.
Options for listening to audiobooks
All these books are available for listening on your smartphone via Amazon’s Audible app. The one trick is that you can’t purchase the books on the Audible app itself, you’ll have to purchase on Amazon.com (or Audible.com, but Amazon has a bigger selection) and then login to the Audible app to download your audiobook. You can choose to either buy each book individually (usually around $16) or sign up for a 30 day free trial, which gets you 2 books for free, and then you’ll be charged $15/mo for an ongoing membership, which accumulates credits of one book per month. You can also get audiobooks from the iTunes store for a similar price, but I don’t find it the most user friendly experience. Also Audiobooks.com has an app where you can search and download within the app, but selection is very limited for real estate investment books. Or if you’re really on a budget and you’re tech savvy, you can download audiobooks for free using torrents, but this can be more trouble than it’s worth and it’s also kinda stealing from the authors who wrote the books. I use Audible because the membership keeps me going through books as my credits stack up. P.S. we’re not getting commission from anyone for these recommendations.
The list of audiobooks below includes a variety of real estate investing categories such as investing with no money down, the best strategies for real estate investing, strategies for finding properties, a compilation of wisdom from hundreds of successful investors, strategies on wholesaling, flipping and commercial real estate. For each audiobook listed, we’ve noted the listener rating and total listening time to help you decide which one to dive into first. All of these audiobooks are also available in paperback if you prefer the old school “reading” method.
